ORDERING LENSES

The Central Lab Group takes pride in our dedicated customer service departments at each of our labs. Orders can be placed via telephone, fax, courier, and other local delivery services.

The following information provides the working hours of the customer service departments of different optical companies across different locations:

  • Central One Optical: Their Customer Service Department can be reached from Monday to Friday, 9 am – 5 pm EST.
  • Cherry Optical: Their Customer Service Department can be reached from Monday to Friday, 9 am – 4 pm EST, with lunch break from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm.
  • Homer Optical (Silver Spring): Their Customer Service Department can be reached from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5 pm EST.
  • Homer Optical (York): Their Customer Service Department can be reached from Monday to Friday, 8 am – 4:30 pm EST.
  • Homer Optical (Virginia Beach): Their Customer Service Department can be reached from Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm EST.

 

Electronic ordering systems are also in place for your convenience through Vision Web. Electronic ordering reduces the production cycle for improved service and faster turnaround times.  Central One Optical exclusively offers online ordering directly through our website. Only customers who have an account with Central One Optical can use this ordering platform.

If you are ordering Rx through your patient’s insurance, please be sure to use the proper ordering platform for the respective insurance.  We owe it to you to provide information that helps you understand electronic ordering and what it may offer your business. Stay up-to-date with Work In Progress Notifications by receiving a daily WIP Report from one of our labs. We want to keep you informed about the status of your order with us so that you can communicate more clearly with your patients and customers. While we will continue to make direct contact when necessary, the email notification system will reduce the number of phone calls to your office so you can focus on your patients.
